Home Inspection:
A Home Inspection, whether it is a pre-purchase or a pre-listing inspection, is a non-invasive visual examination of
a residential dwelling, which is designed to identify observed material defects. Components may include a combination
of mechanical, structural, electrical, plumbing, or other essential systems or portions of the home, as identified and agreed
to by the client and Inspector, prior to the inspection process.

Home Inspection for the Home Buyer: You
should know as much as possible about your new home before completing your purchase. The best way to ensure that you are well
informed about the property that you are purchasing is to have ELITE Home Inspections of Maryland provide
you with a Professional Home Inspection. Conditions of the home, large and small, can be identified so that you can have piece
of mind with your decision. This home inspection is done in accordance with the Standards of Practice of the state of
Maryland.

Home Inspection for the Home Seller: When you are selling your home, it is always a good idea to let a professional inspect your home to find any defects and
weaknesses that may be present. Finding a problem and repairing it before your home is listed can save you significant
money during negotiation and may help you sell your home more quickly. An Inspection can also point out strengths
in your home, which can be brought to the attention of potential buyers. The more knowledge that you have about your home,
the better prepared you will be in selling your property. A Pre-Listing Sellers Home Inspection covers the same items as a
Buyers Home Inspection, and is performed to the standards of the state.

Baltimore County Rental Property Inspection:
ELITE is currently available to perform Baltimore County Rental Property Registration Inspections. Please go to the
Baltimore County website to see if you must register your rental property and have it inspected by a Licensed Home Inspector. Also, please be sure
that you read the FAQ on the Baltimore County website so that you know exactly what the Inspector will be evaluating. This will help you to be
sure that your rental property is up to standard before the inspection. This Inspection is on a Pass/Fail criteria,
so if one area of the Inspection fails, the Inspector cannot sign off on the registration form that must be turned in to the
county.
